A sugar-free smoothie with a rich texture and a strong strawberry flavors that both adults and kids are going to love.

This is my go-to smoothie whenever the kids ask for something refreshing and delicious to drink. It takes just 5 minutes to toss the ingredients into a blender and whip up this strawberry banana smoothie. I don’t add any sugar, just the natural sweetness from the banana. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can always add a tablespoon or two of maple syrup.

🥘 Ingredients
To make this strawberry banana smoothie, we are going to need frozen strawberries, a banana, yogurt and milk. That's it!
- Yogurt: I like to use Greek yogurt as it's high in protein but you could also use regular yogurt, whatever you have in your fridge.
- Strawberries: I like to use frozen strawberries to get that nice, cold smoothie texture, and I find they also have a stronger, sweeter flavor. If you prefer to use fresh strawberries, that’s fine too, just make sure to use a frozen banana to keep that creamy, smoothie consistency.

🔪 Step-by-step Instructions
So get your ingredients ready and let's get started!
01. I start by adding all the ingredients to a blender. I like to add the yogurt, milk, and bananas first, and the frozen strawberries last. I find it blends more easily this way, with all the wet ingredients at the bottom helping everything mix smoothly.
02. I give it a few spins until the strawberries are blended. You are looking for a thick, creamy texture.

🍽 Serving suggestions
Babies under 12 months: For babies, I like to offer this strawberry yogurt smoothie with a spoon so they can take sips or use the spoon to 'eat' it.
Toddlers and older kids: For all other ages, just serve it in a glass with a straw like any other drink.
🧰 Storage
If you have any leftovers, then store the strawberry banana smoothie in a sealable cup or jar in the fridge and consume within 1 day. The texture will change and it will become more runny, but it will still taste great.

❓ FAQ
You could use fresh strawberries to make this smoothie but to get the right texture you will need to swap the fresh banana for a frozen one.
You could add some fresh spinach or kale for extra fiber and goodness. The color of the smoothie will not be as pink but it will not affect the flavor significantly.
